The scandinavian design is one of the most popular styles in Germany. Even the high quality porcelain made in Scandinavia has a long tradition and lots of fans.

Internationally renown is the royal porcelain manufacturer Royal Copenhagen. Like the name already indicates, this danish manufacturer impresses with his royal and luxurious designs - since 200 years. Popular among experts is the classic series with the three waves, which stand for the three straits of Denmark: Öresund, the Great and the Little Belt. One of the oldest and most famous series is "Musselmalet". The dishes are artistically painted with over 1.000 brush strokes. Modern series proof once again that tradition and Zeitgeist don´t rule each other out but are equally part of the Royal Copenhagen repertoire.

Also dishes from the traditional company Rörstrand from Sweden is internationally famous. For example is it used at festivities during the Nobel Prize Awards. Rörstrand has its name from the small town where the company was founded in 1726 and is the second oldest porcelain manufacturer in Europe.
